Social Footy UK WhatsApp groups exist to support game communication, last-minute updates, and community coordination around Social Footy UK sessions.

By joining and participating in any Social Footy UK WhatsApp group, you agree to comply with this policy.

1. Purpose of WhatsApp Groups

Our WhatsApp groups are used for:

• Game updates and announcements
  
  

• Availability changes and waitlist notifications
  
  

• Organiser communication
  
  

• Match credit communication (where applicable)
  
  

They are not a general advertising or recruitment platform.

2. Advertising & Promotion (Strictly Prohibited)

2.1 No Self-Promotion

Players must not advertise or promote:

• Their own football games or leagues
  
  

• Competing football services
  
  

• Events, businesses, or personal ventures
  
  

Without prior written consent from Social Footy UK Ltd.

2.2 No Player Recruitment

Members of Social Footy UK WhatsApp groups must not directly contact other players from the group for the purpose of:

• Recruiting players for their own games
  
  

• Building mailing lists
  
  

• Promoting external football sessions
  
  

This includes direct messages initiated as a result of group participation.

3. Respectful Communication

All members must communicate respectfully at all times.

We do not tolerate:

• Abuse, harassment, or intimidation
  
  

• Discriminatory language or behaviour
  
  

• Disrespect based on gender, sex, religion, belief, ethnicity, race, sexuality, disability, or personal views
  
  

• Personal attacks or aggressive messaging
  
  

Healthy discussion is welcome — disrespect is not.

4. Tone & Behaviour

• Keep messages relevant and constructive
  
  

• Avoid arguments, provocation, or inflammatory language
  
  

• Do not post content intended to upset, mock, or antagonise others
  
  

• Do not “pile on” or gang up on individuals
  
  

Social Footy UK WhatsApp groups should feel safe, inclusive, and welcoming.

5. Privacy & Data Respect

• Do not share screenshots, phone numbers, or messages outside the group without consent
  
  

• Do not add members to other groups without their permission
  
  

• Respect that WhatsApp groups contain personal contact information
  
  

6. Organiser Authority

• Social Footy UK organisers and admins may remove messages, restrict posting, or remove members at their discretion
  
  

• Decisions made by admins are final
  
  

7. Breaches & Enforcement

Breaches of this policy may result in:

• Message deletion
  
  

• Removal from WhatsApp groups
  
  

• Suspension or ban from future Social Footy UK sessions
  
  

Serious or repeated breaches may lead to permanent exclusion without refund or credit.

8. Reporting Issues

If you experience or witness inappropriate behaviour:

• Contact a Social Footy UK organiser directly, or

All reports are treated seriously.
