This Legal Hub sets out the terms, rules, and policies that apply to all bookings, participation, and use of services provided by Social Footy UK Ltd.
By placing a booking with Social Footy UK Ltd, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all associated policies contained within this Legal Hub.

All players must be 16 years of age or older
Players under 18 confirm they have parental or guardian permission
Proof of age may be requested
Social Footy UK provides pay-as-you-play recreational football
Sessions are social and non-competitive
Teams may be mixed or adjusted to ensure fairness and enjoyment
All sessions must be paid in advance, unless stated otherwise
A booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully received
Payments are processed securely via Stripe
Prices may vary by location, time, or format
More than 2 hours before kick-off → may be eligible for a credit
Within 2 hours of kick-off → non-refundable
No refund or credit is issued
Credits may be issued only if Social Footy UK is notified via the official WhatsApp communication channel
Credits are discretionary, non-transferable, and may expire
If we cancel a session, a refund or credit will be issued
Some sessions offer a waitlist once full
Waitlists do not guarantee a place
Players are only charged if a space becomes available and is confirmed
Games start promptly
Late arrivals may receive reduced playing time
No refunds or credits are issued for late arrival
Players must wear correct footwear for the playing surface
Players wearing incorrect footwear will be refused entry
No refunds or credits will be issued in these circumstances
Football is a physical activity with inherent risks
Players confirm they are medically fit to participate
Participation is entirely at the player’s own risk
Social Footy UK Ltd is not responsible for injuries to players or observers, except where liability cannot be excluded by law
We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property
Further details relating to insurance and venue liability are set out below.
Social Footy UK Ltd maintains valid Public Liability Insurance appropriate for the organisation of recreational football activities within the United Kingdom.
Our current policy provides:
ÂŁ10,000,000 Public Liability cover
Cover for injury to participants, including participant-to-participant liability
Cover for injury to third parties or spectators
Cover for accidental damage to venue property
Cover applies to football activities within the UK
All cover is subject to the full terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions of the insurance policy.
Participation in Social Footy UK sessions is undertaken entirely at the participant’s own risk. Social Footy UK Ltd does not accept liability for injury, loss, or damage suffered by players, spectators, or third parties, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
Proof of insurance can be provided to venues upon request.
Players must follow all Game Play Rules, including:
No slide tackles
Throw-ins only (no kick-ins)
Goalkeepers rotate every 5 minutes
If the ball goes over a fence, the shooter retrieves it immediately (game continues)
Dirty bibs must be placed in the dirty bib bag after games
Failure to follow these rules may result in removal or exclusion from future sessions.
We operate a zero-tolerance policy.
We do not tolerate:
Abuse, discrimination, or harassment
Aggressive or dangerous behaviour
Moaning at fellow players
Argumentative behaviour or challenging organiser decisions
Persistent foul play
Slide tackles
Players may be removed or banned without refund or credit.
Any player feeling harassed, threatened, or unsafe must notify the game manager immediately.

Photos and videos may be taken during sessions for marketing and promotional use
Attendance constitutes consent
Players may opt out by informing the organiser before kick-off
Players may create accounts (including Google sign-in)
Account holders are responsible for keeping login details secure
Misuse of the platform may result in suspension or termination
Social Footy UK Ltd uses WhatsApp groups to communicate important information relating to games, bookings, waitlists, and session updates.
By joining a Social Footy UK WhatsApp group, you agree to:
Use the group solely for Social Footy UK sessions
Communicate respectfully and appropriately
You must not:
Advertise or promote your own games or services without prior written consent
Recruit players for non–Social Footy UK games (including via DMs)
Harass, intimidate, or discriminate against others based on gender, sex, religion, belief, ethnicity, race, sexuality, disability, or personal views
Share group messages, screenshots, or personal contact details without consent
Social Footy UK Ltd reserves the right to:
Remove messages or members
Suspend or permanently exclude players
Serious or repeated breaches may result in exclusion without refund or credit.
Personal data is processed in line with UK GDPR
We use Google Analytics to improve our services

We are not liable for failure to deliver sessions due to events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather or venue closure.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
