These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings, participation, and use of services provided by Social Footy UK Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).
They should be read alongside the Social Footy UK Legal Hub, which forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
By placing a booking with Social Footy UK Ltd, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and all associated policies contained within our Legal Hub.

2.1 All players must be 16 years of age or older.
2.2 Players under 18 confirm they have permission from a parent or guardian to participate.
2.3 Proof of age may be requested at any time.
3.1 Social Footy UK provides pay-as-you-play recreational football sessions.
3.2 Sessions are social and non-competitive.
3.3 Teams may be mixed, rotated, or adjusted to maintain fairness and enjoyment.
4.1 All sessions must be paid in advance, unless stated otherwise.
4.2 A booking is confirmed only once payment has been successfully received.
4.3 Payments are processed securely via Stripe. Social Footy UK Ltd does not store card details.
4.4 Prices may vary by location, time, or format and are displayed at the time of booking.
Cancellations made more than 2 hours before kick-off may be eligible for a match credit.
Cancellations made within 2 hours of kick-off are non-refundable.
Failure to attend a booked session without notice is not eligible for a refund or credit.
Match credits may be issued only if Social Footy UK is notified via the official WhatsApp communication channel.
Credits are issued at our discretion, are non-transferable, and may expire.
If Social Footy UK cancels a session due to venue issues, safety concerns, or insufficient numbers, a refund or credit will be issued.
6.1 Some sessions offer a waitlist once capacity is reached.
6.2 Waitlist bookings do not guarantee a place.
6.3 Players are charged only if a space becomes available and participation is confirmed.
7.1 Games start promptly.
7.2 Late arrivals may receive reduced playing time.
7.3 No refunds or credits are issued for late arrival.
8.1 Players must wear appropriate footwear for the playing surface.
8.2 Players wearing incorrect footwear will be refused entry for safety reasons.
8.3 No refunds or credits will be issued in these circumstances.
9.1 Football is a physical activity involving inherent risk.
9.2 By booking and participating, players confirm they are medically fit to take part.
9.3 Participation is entirely at the player’s own risk.
9.4 Social Footy UK Ltd is not responsible for injuries to players or observers, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
9.5 We accept no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal property brought to sessions.
10.1 Social Footy UK Ltd maintains valid Public Liability Insurance appropriate for the organisation of recreational football activities within the United Kingdom.
10.2 The policy provides:
£10,000,000 Public Liability cover
Cover for injury to participants, including participant-to-participant liability
Cover for injury to third parties or spectators
Cover for accidental damage to venue property
10.3 All cover is subject to the full terms, conditions, limits, and exclusions of the insurance policy.
10.4 Proof of insurance can be provided to venues upon request.
Players must comply with all Game Play Rules, including but not limited to:
No slide tackles
Throw-ins only (no kick-ins)
Goalkeepers rotate every 5 minutes
If the ball goes over a fence, the shooter retrieves it immediately (play continues)
Dirty bibs must be placed in the dirty bib bag after games
Failure to follow Game Play Rules may result in removal from a session or exclusion from future participation.
12.1 Social Footy UK operates a strict zero-tolerance policy.
12.2 We do not tolerate:
Abuse, discrimination, or harassment
Aggressive or dangerous behaviour
Moaning at fellow players
Argumentative behaviour or challenging organiser decisions
Persistent foul play
Slide tackles
12.3 Players may be removed from sessions or banned from future participation without refund or credit.
13.1 Any player who feels harassed, threatened, or unsafe must notify the game manager immediately.
13.2 Issues may also be reported via:

14.1 Photos and videos may be taken during sessions for marketing and promotional use.
14.2 Attendance constitutes consent to this use.
14.3 Players may opt out by informing the organiser before kick-off.
15.1 Players may create accounts, including Google sign-in, to manage bookings.
15.2 Account holders are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login details.
15.3 Misuse of the platform may result in suspension or termination.
16.1 WhatsApp groups are used for Social Footy UK game communication only.
16.2 Players must not:
Advertise or promote their own games or services without written consent
Contact players directly to recruit for non–Social Footy UK games
Engage in abusive, discriminatory, or disrespectful behaviour
16.3 Social Footy UK Ltd reserves the right to remove members or messages and to suspend or permanently exclude players for breaches.
17.1 Personal data is processed in line with UK GDPR.
17.2 We use Google Analytics to understand and improve our services.

Social Footy UK Ltd is not liable for failure to deliver sessions due to events beyond our reasonable control, including extreme weather or venue closure.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
